ENGLISH ASSESSMENT PRACTICE 1

Here you will find a link to practice English Assessment Tests

Most tests have at least 3 sections: Listening Comprehension, Use of Language & Reading Comprehension. All the questions have multiple choice answers.


Answer the following exercises get a screenshot of the results and paste them in a  word file; save it as Your name + English Assesment 1, upload it to the "file" section of the TEAMS meeting,

Vocabulary.


There is no specific vocabulary section in the tests, but you will need to understand and be able to use a large number of words to do well in all sections of the exam.

Vocabulary learning tips: Read as much as possible. If you come across a word you don't know, write it down or look it up. Use a dictionary. Many browsers include dictionaries.If you are reading online, you may be able to right-clcik on a word to look it up.

Remember words are often used together with other words. Try to learn these 'collocations'.
